We use Hays regularly to cover staff absence both short and long term. They have been so helpful and supportive of our needs and go out of their way to ensure that the right staff are deployed. Katie and Chloe are a delight to work with, visiting the school to get a feel for our community and their quick and professional service. It feels like they have become a part of our wider school community themselves!

London’s loss is definitely Exeter’s gain! I have always enjoyed a great working relationship with Tom who has made me feel valued and appreciated. Tom has taken the time to learn about me and my strengths, likes & dislikes. As a result, I have enjoyed fabulous placements through Tom!

I work as a Primary and EYFS Supply Teacher, this is an appreciation post for the Hays Education team, Chloe, Oliver, Adam and Jarryd, who are the Exeter based consultants that I work with. I moved to Devon from Wiltshire last year and am getting to know my new local area, my experience with Hays has been ideal in helping me get settled. I appreciate that the team are positive and supportive in finding roles for me in rural and city schools, we update each other often about availability and when working with the team I feel valued as a person as well as a work colleague. Thank you to Chloe, who I mostly work with, for your enthusiasm and energy and for being someone I can talk comfortably with about day to day work and also in challenging times. Thank you all! 😃

I worked with Kitty as my consultant, she was very kind, friendly, and made me feel really comfortable throughout the sign up process. The process was really simple and straight forward, and Kitty was there at any point I needed to answer any questions or queries I had!

July-Oct 2021 - Had the pleasure of dealing with Simon Lawrence after being connected via Hays Bristol. Simon took on the task of finding me a new role but in addition was able to support not just my transition in to a new role but a relocation for me and my family. Finding a senior role in Cornwall would have been challenging in itself but Simon took the time to ensure that I had as much info as possible in terms of relocation destinations and was fantastic in terms of ensuring my future employers was adaptable in terms of interview times due to travel. Couldn't have asked for better service and now use him to do my recruitment in my new role!

I wanted to commend the work of Matthew Wicks at Hays Exeter, as he is an excellent example of how well a recruitment consultant can support you in your search for the right role. Matt takes the time to understand exactly what you are looking for and therefore, will only suggest roles that incorporate what you deem as important and takes the time to match you as best as possible with the right client. He treats you as an individual and never takes the 'one size fits all' approach. He is thorough and supportive and I know he always has my best interests at heart.

I have recently registered with Hays Exeter having worked in my current position for a number of years. My consultant, Simon Lawrence, has been very proactive in putting me forward for some roles which have already lead to interviews. Simon was really helpful in helping me prepare for the interviews and hopefully his efforts will result in a new opportunity for me. Excellent service

I have been working for hays as a EYFS Specialist Supply Teacher on & off for 20 years! They have been so helpful and supportive and introduced me to some fantastic schools and given me some amazing teaching opportunities over the years. With a large family, I have benefited from the flexibility of being able to have seasons of working as supply teacher and use my gifts in a variety of schools, this has been made so easy through working with Hays.
